Who are we?

Created in 2002, Eco Delta Développement is a French company with management and supervisory boards and a share capital of 1,743,339 euros, headquartered in Marseilles.

 

Its pool is primarily made up of private French players with a strong interest in environmental and energy issues. Since the start of its business, the company's founders have remained its main shareholders.

 

Since 2006, Eco Delta Développement has benefited from the industrial and capital backing of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC). Today, this public financial institution with a strong commitment to diversifying France’s energy mix, has a 10% stake in its capital. This partnership is making it possible to guarantee the long-term viability of Eco Delta Développement’s projects to produce electricity from renewable energy sources.

 

In 2008, Eco Delta Développement began diversifying its activity, moving into photovoltaic electricity. In February 2008, its joint subsidiary with the CDC (Barisol) received authorizations to set up France’s first industrial solar power production site, in Chaillac (Indre Region).

Eco Delta Développement is an independent company committed to promoting, developing and operating decentralized projects to produce power from renewable energy, respecting both the local population and the environment. Through its structures, Delta Wind and Delta Solar, the company is active in the development of wind and solar projects.

 

It works in line with a focus on local economic development. In this way, Eco Delta Développement has surrounded itself with independent organizations for carrying out specialized preliminary studies: acoustics, impact on flora, fauna, human health and landscaping.

 

As the principal, Eco Delta Développement is responsible for all the phases involved in a project’s creation, from prospecting through to commissioning and operating the facility.

 

The company has a portfolio of wind and solar projects representing over 1,000 MW.

 

Wind:

 

• 96 MWe of permits obtained

• 157 MWe of permits filed

• 480 MWe of permits to be filed

 

Solar:

 

• 4 MWc of permits obtained

• 35 MWc of permits filed

• 270 MWc of permits to be filed

 

Its offering represents a genuine opportunity for districts, district communities and landowners

Eco Delta Développement’s research and development programs, focusing on renewable energies, are backed by the French innovation agency (ANVAR), which has awarded the company its innovation mutual fund (FCPI) label.

 

Eco Delta Développement is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Cadarache renewable energy competitiveness cluster.
